Signage

Talbot Designs has always been involved with Signage, although over the last 4 years, this area of industry has grown enormously for us with our association with SignTrade Letters. SignTrade are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of moulded and flat cut letters.

Our dishes and domes have been used on a number of leading retailer stores. Recent examples are; Mothercare, Marks & Spencer, Virgin cinemas, Nike and Thomas Cook Travel centres.

We generally work with main contractors as a supply only sub-contractor, but can assist in the installation if required. Our lettering is also used extensively for internal signage, including directional signs.

Our ChromaSign™ has been extremely popular with retailers and contractors alike as it mimics the effect of solid chrome letters without the cost or weight factor. ChromaSign™ has also been well received in the exhibition industry as it allows for something different to be used other than the standard fret cut letters.

Close up ChromaSign™

Close up shot of the ChromaSign™ letters showing the almost flawless surface finish we can achieve. This is an electroplated surface treatment not to be confused with vacuum metalizing which produces an inferior effect over large areas.

World Shopping

Working with the contracted shopfitters, we screenprinted the rear of these shallow dishes in acrylic. These were made with flanges so that they could be pushed through from the rear and fixed on the flanges to allow a seamless integration with the metal oval pan.

Collections

An example of some signage created using our ChromaSignT range of moulded letters. These were fitted to formed PETG headers and are an extremely effective and eye-catching way of internal navigation signage. Fountain Court

A good example of ChromaSignT being used outdoors in a luxury property development. The chrome is weather resistant and with general care, will withstand the outdoor elements. It is the same process used for car badges and bathroom sanitary ware.
